Form, Freedom and Control

In the seminar we examined a theoretical model that differentiates form according to its generation in geometric, physical and free form. The goal was to develop an understanding that a meaningful form is controlled by a reason which is not necessarily "function".
Every student built three 7“ cubic models, each of them demonstrating one of the three covered form-generation-strategies and exploring an appropriate material and modelmaking technique.
